How to use the segments in the survey?

In this article you will learn how to select the specific group that should participate in your survey.

In some situations, it is necessary for the survey to be answered only by a specific group of people. To address this need, the platform offers the option to use segments, allowing the survey to be sent only to individuals who fit into the selected segment.

 

If you do not yet know how to create segments, click here.

 

To limit the search to the segment you must:

🟣 Click on the settings icon in the SurveyProduct. (If you are still creating it, you can skip this step).


🟣 Click on "Configurations

🟣 Select the "Specific Groups" option

🟣 Select the desired segment, if it already exists or create a new one on the manage segments icon.

🚨 Important:

 

You can create and change segments by clicking on the "Manage segments" button.

 

If an employee is added to the segment after the survey is live, they will not automatically be included in the survey. In this case you have to include it manually;

 

In a finished survey, if news employees are added to a segment that has already been used, nothing will happen, because to do so it would be necessary to manually add these new employees to the survey.

 

It is possible to reuse the same segment for new surveys.
