Platform Introduction

How to create segments to use on the Qulture.Rocks platform?

Segments are very useful filters to optimize the calibration processes (averages or Box)

Segment Definition

The segments act as ‘filters’ that can be built and saved for later use and they are used in:

  • Performance Evaluation: on the Team Results screen, during the process of calibrating numerical averages.

  • Box: in the nbox, during the position calibration process.

There are currently two types of segments on the Platform:

  • (I) Fixed filter of employees: the filter does not automatically update employees, that is, it remains with employees with their respective tags and / or teams referring to the creation date of the segment.

Example: In January, the "Back Office SP" segment was created and it contains all employees of the "Back Office SP" team, but between February and March 4 people left that team and 2 new ones entered. At the end of March, when consulting the segment, we see that it continues with the registration of employees for the month of January, that is, without the updates that were made. The segment, then, remains with the same employees and their respective tags / times from the segment's creation date, without updating.

  • (II) Dynamic collaborator filter: the filter automatically updates according to the collaborators' tags and teams inserted in it.

Example: In January, the "Sales Support Team" Segment was created and it contains all employees with the tag "sales support". Over the months of February and March, several collaborators were added with this tag and others left this tag. In April, after all these changes, when consulting the segment, we will see that it is updated. That is, the segment was automatically updated as the tag changes were made over the months.

How to create segments manually?

Once created, the segment appears both in the filters in "Team Results" and in the 9Box.

1. Click the filter icon:

2. At the bottom left of the screen, click on "New Segment".

3. Fill the data in the right part of the screen. You can choose to insert tags, teams and / or include collaborators manually.

Hint: Choose names for the segments that make it easy for you to identify them later. That is, very descriptive names, since the segments are available to be selected in all the evaluation cycles and boxes:

Suggestion for segment names:

[BP - Name] Area X | Position Y | DD/MM

Example: [BP - Daniela | Operation | Managers | 04/31

4. Choose the type of segment (fixed or dynamic).

5. Save your changes.

Once the settings have been made, this segment will now be available to be selected 😉

How to create segments by import?

If you have this list of filters ready in Excel, it is possible to upload this file for creation and it is very simple. Just duplicate template and fill with the necessary information. The columns of the file are:

(I) employee email

(II) name of the segment in PT

(III) name of the EN segment

(IV) name of the ES segment

(V) fixed segment? Otherwise

(VI) performance group (used to define the PR target audience)?
