Multiple Leadership Concept and Settings
This article has the objective of explaining the concepts and how to configure multiple leadership
Multiple Leadership is a feature of our platform that allows a collaborator to have more than one leader. In this documentation we explain more about how to set it up.
The applicability of this function of the products is explained in this article.
How to build relationships
To create relationships, that is, to indicate who is a multiple leader of whom, there are two paths.
Via importer
Within Organization > Imports, there is the option "[COMPANY] Create new relationships". Simply fill in the email address of the persons in the appropriate columns (the multiple leader is in the "Managed Role" column and the multiple direct report in the "Managed Role" column).
Via the basic profile
Within each person's profile there is a "Multiple Leaders" section. Here you can define both the person's multiple leaders, and their multiple leads.
Hierarchy Browsing
In certain products there is a setting that enables what we call "hierarchy browsing", i.e. a leader can view their direct reports - or indirect reports (more about this here).
