Imports for admins - Positions in the Succession product

👉 In order to import data, it is important to request the release of the import screen from the manager responsible for the account.

 

It is possible to import jobs and positions separately into the Qulture platform in a simple and agile way.

Go to the Job Titles page in the Organization → Management menu.

In the top right-hand corner, click Import

Select the type of import

Here, choose what will be imported into the platform at that moment.

 

Once selected, this screen will appear. It is to any of the previous options. What differs is the available template spreadsheet file.

 

 

1st - Click on template spreadsheet to download the file which must be filled in according to the instructions contained therein, and fill it in with the data relating to the type of import selected:

POSITIONS:

Job Title ID → required field (fill in 'create' if it's a new position)

Job Title name  → required field

Job Title abbreviation → required field

Active or archived → indicates whether to upload the position to the platform as active or archived

Description → non-mandatory field

POSITIONS:

Position ID → required field (fill in 'create' if it's a new position)

Position ID → required field that indicates which position the position refers to/is part of

Criticality → optional field that informs whether the position is critical or not

Archived → informs whether the position is active or archived

Email of occupant → indicates which employee occupies the position. In this case, it must be filled in with an e-mail that is active on the platform, and it is important to note that if there is no e-mail flagged, the platform will understand it as an empty position.

- Click on the indicated area to select it, or drag it;

- Click on import!

You can follow the status of your import on the import screen.

If the spreadsheet doesn't have any errors, when it's finished the status will appear as “Done”. If there are any errors, the platform will show you where they are.

 

How do I know which error occurred in my import?

The platform displays the errors found directly on the Imports screen, which makes it easier to identify problems in the spreadsheet. To correct the errors, you will need to investigate in more detail what needs to be corrected in the spreadsheet. We recommend checking the error messages provided by the platform and reviewing the corresponding fields in the spreadsheet. Make sure you correct any incorrect or missing information to ensure that the import is completed successfully.

1. Can I empty positions in bulk?

A: Yes, you can perform an import with the "position occupant" column empty.
