Feelings pulse

What is it and how to use the Sentiment Pulse Benchmark at Qulture.Rocks?

Learn how to get the most out of the new 1:1 and Leadership product functionality.

Goal

This feature was created to help the platform administrator to answer the following question: "what is the pulse sentiment adherence rate of companies similar to mine?". We identified, as QR team, that this was a very present question during the implementation phase of the 1:1 product in companies. 🎉🎉

This visualization is available on the Analytics.Rocks screen (in the product of 1:1), showing the average conversion rate of other companies over the last 8 weeks, being the same period used to present your company's information. Also shown is the overall average rate over the period - (i) of the company itself and (ii) of the other companies in the benchmark group as well.

How to activate?

To activate the functionality, simply go to the Analytics.Rocks page (within the 1:1 product), and do the following step-by-step:

  1. Click on "Show benchmark", just below the membership rate graph;

  2. Read the adhesion form;

  3. Sign the checkbox: "I have read and accept the terms of use";

  4. Click "Continue" to finish the action.

👀 If the "View benchmark" button is not visible in your platform, please contact your account manager. 😃

How is the benchmark rate calculated?

To calculate the benchmark, we divide the companies that have access to the feature into groups. The groups are used so that each administrator sees the benchmark of other similar companies, i.e. companies that make sense for her context. So we calculate the benchmark (i.e. the average membership rate) for each group and the administrator sees the value of the group to which her company belongs.

The groups are defined based on the amount of sentiments created in the week, and not based on the number of active employees. This way we ensure a benchmark based on similar usage of the feature, which does not necessarily correspond to the total size of the company.

⚠️ Important: the group to which your company belongs must have at least 3 participating companies; this guarantees the real anonymity of the information used. If this quantity is not reached in a given group, the company will not see the benchmark rate in the chart.

📚 Note: remembering that the company itself is always included in the benchmark it sees; for example, if Qulture is in a group with 9 other companies, Mari (our dear People and Culture Astronaut) will see the average of the 10 companies contained in the group.

How will the data be visualized?

As mentioned earlier, the administrator sees:

  1. the average membership rate of the companies in the group in this period (last 8 weeks) - what we call the benchmark;

  2. the average membership rate of the companies in the group week by week, which enables a comparative view with the company's own membership rate.

📚 Note: over the course of the 8 weeks shown in the chart, it is possible that the company will change groups. For now, we do not provide any visual indication that this change has happened and always present the benchmark of the group to which the company currently belongs.

⚠️ Important: this means that the information shown in the past never changes in the Admin view! The benchmark that the Admin sees for a certain week, will always be the same, regardless of whether the company has changed groups.

FAQ

1. Who has access to this data?

For now, only the company Admin (i.e. admin of all features) and 1:1 Admin will have access to this feature, i.e. BP will not have access to the benchmark.

2. Why do I can't see some points on the graph or no graph at all?

As we said, to protect your data and ensure anonymity when using this feature, it is necessary that each group has a minimum of participating companies (which is 3). If the group to which you belong does not reach this minimum, no information will be available to you (which can mean missing one or more points in the chart - in the worst case, even all the points). We ensure that our customers' data is protected, and also that we only show you information that makes sense for your reality.
