How to insert Custom Score in Key Results
If a key result progress measure is not linear you can input the Score that represents its progress
To do this, the administrator must enable the option to create Key Results with Custom Score option on OKRs' cycle settings.
How to create a Key Result with Custom Score?
The creation of this Key Result is done just like any other one. You just need to check the following option:
After creating it, when updating the progress, you can insert:
-
The indicator (goal)
-
The progress (score)
I've created a Key Result with the automatic score, can I change it now?
This kind of editing cannot be done after the Key Result is created. The best option is to recreate the Key Result choosing the manual score.
In what situations do I need the manual score?
When the measure of the Key Results is not linear, like this:
Key Result: Keep turnover under 5%
For <5% = 100% score
Between 5.01% and 7% = 50% score
For >7% = 0% score
In this case, the intervals don't follow a linear measure so it's necessary to insert the custom score.
