[FAQ] How does the username work on the platform?

In this article, we will teach you how to use the "username" column as an identifier.

👉 In certain cases where it is necessary to update the email and CPF of a contract/employee, it is recommended to use the "username" attribute as an identifier during the import process in the Qulture.Rocks platform.

In this FAQ, we will address the details about the username in the platform, highlighting its advantages, disadvantages, and proper usage guidelines.

How to add usernames for your employees?

To add the username in the import spreadsheet, you need to include an additional column named "username" at the end of the spreadsheet. Then, fill in this column with the chosen usernames for your company's employees.

Make sure to choose unique and relevant usernames, taking into consideration your organization's policies and guidelines. Usernames are used to identify and authenticate employees in the Qulture.Rocks platform, so it's important to provide usernames that are easy to remember and distinguish.

How can I use the username as the identifier in my import?

To ensure that the platform recognizes the "username" as the identifier, you need to add a last column called "user_login". For cases where only the "username" should be considered, you should fill in this last column with "username", as exemplified in the image below.

What are the advantages of using the username field as the identifier?

By using the username field as the identifier, you benefit from the ability to update email and/or CPF data for multiple collaborators through the import process. This prevents duplications, as the platform recognizes collaborators based on their unique username.

This approach provides efficiency and convenience in updating data while maintaining data integrity. It allows you to make large-scale changes with ease, simplifying the management process for collaborator data on the platform.
