See how to add TAGs to employees for the first time, why to do this and how to update them over time.

What are TAGs?

The tags are used as filters for questions in (i) Performance Evaluation and in (ii) segments.

To exemplify, in (i), it is through TAGs that you are able to direct specific questions to a specific audience, for example: the "Communication" competency should only appear for the CS team, therefore, the questions of this competency will need to contain the TAG "CS".

To exemplify, in (ii), it is possible to create filters (updated dynamically) according to the TAGs registered in the employees. For example: CS filter considers all people who have this TAG and update automatically with the 'entry' and 'exit' in the TAGs. These filters are very useful during the evaluation, especially during the calibration period.

How to register TAGs on the platform?

To register them, just follow the steps below:

  1. Access "Organization Profile".

  2. In the left sidebar, click on "Tags".

  3. At the top right of the screen, click "New".

  4. Enter the tag name and choose whether it will be visible to admins only or not.

  5. Click "Save".

ATTENTION: It is essential that there is no duplication of tag, example, Intern and Trainee or Trainee and intern.

After the tags are created, it is necessary to link them to the corresponding collaborators. You can do this via a spreadsheet, or manually.

How to include TAGs to individual employees?

After you have registered the possible tags for your company, you can select which tags a given employee should have.

  • (i) Access the "Organization Profile", as indicated below:

Within the "Organization Profile", look for the employee you want to change from the list or perform a search in the "Search for employee" field and then click on the name of the collaborator.

Within the employee profile, search for the tags you want to add. If you prefer you can start typing the name of the tag:

In this case we choose the "Supplier Relations" tag:

Now just click on "✔".

How to update employee tags in bulk?

You can find the complete step-by-step process for this action in the article "How to update tags in bulk?".

Which products can tags be used in?

Review

Within the review product, tags are used to determine which questions will appear in the forms. In the article "What is the logic used for the questions to appear on the forms?" we have a complete explanation on the subject.

⚠️ Important note:

If you disassociate a tag from a user, this action may impact the progress of an evaluation (being done in the Reviews feature). If evaluations are in progress, the evaluators will no longer see questions / topics / subtopics that have not yet been answered and associated with the tag).

Example: If Francisco is evaluating Renata in a competency (eg, "People Management") dependent on a tag (eg, "Managers"), Francisco will no longer see the People Management competence when he evaluates Renata ( except when he has already completed the competency-related question).

Segments

Segments are filters that can be created and saved for later use. They are extremely useful for optimizing the processes of averaging calibration or box and identifying participants in surveys. Segments can be created based on the tags assigned to the collaborators.

To learn how to do this, we have the article "How to create segments to use in the Qulture.Rocks platform?"

Manage actuation group

A manage actuation group is used to restrict the access of a user with an administrator profile. It is generally applied mainly to people who are Business Partners (BPs).

A BP is a business partner responsible for supporting and guiding certain areas or processes within an organization. Creating a specific manage actuation group for BPs is a way to control the access of these users and ensure that they have appropriate permissions for the resources and information needed to perform their roles.

To create a manage actuation group for BPs, you can follow the article "How to create an actuation group for BPs?".
