How to interpret the individual performance evaluation report?

This article aims to assist in interpreting your Individual Report, which is the final stage of the performance evaluation process.

Updated over a week ago

As you reach the final stage of the performance review process, it is crucial to understand the Individual Report, which is a critical part of this process. The Individual Report consists of various sections that provide valuable insights into the individual performance of each employee.

👉 In this article, we will assist you in interpreting and making the most out of your Individual Report. We will explore each section in a clear and direct manner, so that you can derive the utmost benefit from this valuable professional development tool. Let's begin unraveling the information contained in the report!

🟣 Part 1: "Overview"

Here, you will find a "speedometer" that indicates your overall average. The value is within a previously defined scale (e.g., 1 to 5). Please note that this visualization may be customizable, so disregard this if your model does not present this specific view.

Additionally, you can analyze the comparative averages separated by topics through a spider chart. Each color represents a relationship within the evaluation, for example: self-review, leader to direct report, peers, and so on.

🟣 Part 2: "Averages"

In this second part, you can visualize a table where each row represents a question or topic (depending on the configuration), and each column represents a relationship. From this table, you can compare your scores with the company average as well as the average scores for each relationship (leader, peers, self-review, etc.).

The more comprehensive the review you are participating in, such as a 360-degree review, the more columns may exist, allowing for a wider range of comparative analysis.

If the review has been configured using a concept scale, grading scale will be presented instead of numerical averages.

⚠️ Important: For columns where only one person evaluates you, the number in this table will also be converted into an average. For example, if the rating from your leader is 3, the average will be calculated as M=(leader's rating/number of leaders), so M=(3/1) -> M=3. Therefore, there may be differences between the grading scale and the concept scale.

🟣 Part 3: "Individual Responses"

In this final part, you can view the received responses for each question of the review, either anonymously or non-anonymously. The anonymity depends on how the report was configured.
