Any employee survey responses are completely anonymized. However, it is possible to group them according to the Employee Fields in order to develop specific action plans that target groups of people within the company.
The Survey product itself already provides default groupings, which include:
Area
Department
Location
Level
Job Title
Leader
However, the groupings are not limited to these fields only. It is possible to use custom fields, which are created according to the HR's specific needs.
You can either use an existing custom field or create a new one specifically for use in the Survey product. Learn how to create a custom field in this article.
Suppose we have a custom field called "Unidade (branch)" and we want to use it to group the results of an employee survey:
Access the Surveys product from the left vertical navigation bar.
Select a preferred survey.
When viewing the survey results, click on "Group" in the Heatmap section.
Then, select the custom field "Unit" and click on "Group".
Great, now you can view the results for each existing branch within the company.
If you have created a custom Employee Field of type Options, it's important to keep in mind that the options of this field will be the groups displayed in the Heatmap. Here's an example:
Grouping by custom field: Unidade (Branch);
Options of the custom field: Rio de Janeiro, Salvador, and São Paulo.
⚠️ It's important to note that the custom field will only appear as an option for grouping the survey results if the person filtering has permission to access it. This permission is configured in Organization > Employee Fields and Profile > Edit Employee Field.
