How to Use the Succession Table | Analytics.Rocks for Succession
Updated over a week ago

To assist in the management of the succession process, Qulture.Rocks provides a table that contains all the key information related to the Succession product, such as critical positions without appointments, all appointments made, and their dates.

This table is called the Succession Table and can be accessed through the Succession Map and then the "Analytics.Rocks" button.

Note: Only general company admins have access to the table.

When you open the Analytics.Rocks page, you will find a table that lists:

  • All positions in the organization that have at least one appointment.

  • All critical positions, whether or not they have successors.

Above the table, you'll see the 'Big numbers.' They are:

  • Total Positions: Shows the total number of active positions in the company, regardless of whether they have successors or not.

  • Critical Positions: Shows the total number of positions defined as critical in the company.

  • Successors: Shows the total number of appointed successors in the company. These individuals will appear in the succession table.

  • Immediate Readiness: Shows, among all the appointed individuals, how many have immediate readiness.

In the table, you can identify:

  • Position: Displays the ID of the position in question.

  • Title: Displays the name of the previously configured position.

  • Incumbent: Shows the name of the employee occupying the position. If there is no incumbent, the field will be blank.

  • Criticality: Indicates whether the position is critical or not.

  • Successors: Displays the number of appointed successors for the position.

  • Readiness: Immediate: Shows the ratio between the total number of appointed successors and the number of appointed successors with the most immediate readiness level in the queue. For example, if 3 employees were appointed, with 2 of them having immediate readiness and 1 having readiness in 6 months, the table will show "2|3."

  • Last Appointment: Displays the date of the last appointment made.

Furthermore, you can access more detailed information in the table by clicking on the title of a position.

The expanded table provides more detailed information about all the employees who were appointed to the respective position, including:

  • Successors: Names of the employees appointed as successors for the position.

  • Current Position of the Successor: Shows the current job title of the appointed person. If there is no associated position, the field will be filled with "-."

  • Readiness Level: Displays the readiness level defined for the employee at the time of the appointment.

  • Author of the Appointment: Shows who made the appointment.

  • Appointment Date: Displays the date when the appointment was made.
