Leader's view on the IDP tool
Leader's view on the IDP tool

This article will show what the leader's view is in the tool and how he can download the IDP report.

Updated over a year ago

In this article we will work on the leader's vision inside the IDP tool and the export model for leaders, where they can check the individual and collective development of their team, and what is being prioritized in the development areas and also which action plans have been registered for these areas

1. First the leader should access the IDP tool, which is located on the left side of the Qulture.rocks homepage;

2.By clicking on the tool the leader will have three tabs which he can navigate (My Development, My Team, IDP Instructions);

3. On the "My Team" tab, he will have an overview of all his team members, where he can access each one's development area, and also where he can approve the IDP that was proposed by the employee;

4. By selecting an employee, the leader will also be able to suggest new areas of development for his or her direct reports, by clicking on "new competence", a blue button in the center of the screen;

Note: It is worth noting that the name "new competence" may be alterable depending on what was set as "Label" for the development area. In this case it was set as "competence".

5. Once you have done this, you can add a new area of the leader's choice for the direct report;

6. However, the leader can also have a more macro view of what is happening with his team through reports, the leader just has to click on the upper right corner, where the name of the current cycle will be, and choose the option "Manage cycles";

7. The leader will be redirected to a new page, where he can download reports of all the cycles that have already been performed within the platform;

8. After this, the leader will download a report of the chosen cycle, which will be in excel format, and will contain information such as

  • Total development areas;

  • Which and how many action plans;

  • When it was created;

  • If it has already been done;

  • If any employee has no development area;

Simply navigate through the three tabs on the spreadsheet, which are at the bottom of the screen, "IDP, Development Areas, Action plans, Without Development areas", on these tabs the leader will find the information listed above, and also other informations.

There you go, that's the navigation a leader can have inside the IDP tool!
