👉 With this tool, you can structure and manage your organization's job positions in the system:
Mapping all job positions;
Identifying filled positions;
Identifying vacant positions;
Defining critical positions;
Determining the path an individual can take to move from one "position A" to "position B."
But what are Jobs and Positions?
🟣 Jobs:
Entities that define an individual's main responsibilities and duties in the organization;
They have unique names, meaning there cannot be two jobs with the same name in the company's database, and this applies to any language the Admin selects. The system does not differentiate between uppercase and lowercase letters.
🟣 Positions:
Openings (or seats) within a job that can be occupied by an individual in the organization over a period of time. An employee is linked to a job through the occupation of a position;
For now, positions cannot be freely named by the Admin. When creating a position, the platform automatically generates a number for that position, which becomes the identifier for the new position created;
When creating a position, it does not need to be immediately occupied by an employee, meaning an Admin can create a position to be filled in the future. Once occupied, a position can become vacant again when the occupant is removed;
[Critical Positions]: Positions that, if left unfilled, may jeopardize the organization's strategy or business continuity
Example: For the same Product Manager job, there are 2 positions to be filled. In other words, two people could have the same job but in different positions.
🚨 To use this job and position structure in the platform, it's necessary for the platform's Admin to activate this feature.
How to activate it?
Admins can access the job structure through the path: Organization > Jobs Titles > Job Management
Here, the Admin can see how the creation, viewing, and management of the new job structure work, understand it, and test if it makes sense for their organization, and then activate this structure.
To activate, simply go to:
Job Management > Settings > Activate the job and position structure
What happens when the Admin activates the second key?
When the Admin decides to apply the new job structure to everyone in the company:
The simple job field in the profile is no longer visible to anyone in the company
Everyone in the organization gains access to the 'job' section in the profile
The succession product can be used by those who have purchased the succession module
Can I deactivate the key?
Yes!!! If the Admin no longer wants to use Qulture's job and position structure, they can deactivate the key. To do this, simply follow the path:
Job Management > Settings > Deactivate the job and position structure
With this:
The simple job field becomes visible again to the entire organization
The Succession product becomes impossible to use
