How to name successors through a profile?

Learn how to configure the succession module within the employee profile and how to define positions and successors for that individual.

Updated over a week ago

Successor naming is the initial step in the succession process. During this step, the name of the employee who will succeed a position is indicated, along with their readiness level and an estimate of how long it will take for the named individual to be ready to take on this new challenge.

How to name successors in an employee profile

In the Qulture.Rocks platform, there are 2 types of employee profiles: the Basic Profile and the Evolution Profile.

⚠️ If you have configured the Succession section to be displayed in one of these profiles, it will be possible to make the naming through it.

One possible way to do this through the Basic Profile is:

  1. Click on "Organization"

  2. Go to "Management" > "Employees"

  3. Click on the person for whom you want to name successors

  4. Click on the "Succession" section

  5. Click on "New successor"

  6. Define the successor and their readiness level.

The naming can be justified in the available field "Justification" (mandatory field). Access to the justifications for each naming can be done through the succession export, which can be accessed in the "Job Management" screen.

Remember that the Basic Profile also appears in: homepage, employee one-page, 1:1, Individual Development Plan (IDP), Performance Review, Directory, and Succession.

The same naming process described above can also be done within the Evolution Profile. Simply access it in the Performance Rating Calibration Panel or in a Box created within a performance review cycle.
