After registering your Individual Development Plan (IDP) and obtaining approval from your leadership (if you have direct leadership), you can track and record your progress throughout the IDP cycle.
To access the product, simply use the left-side navigation bar in the platform - keep in mind that the name of this product may vary from company to company.
In this product, you will find a list of your development areas for that specific cycle. By clicking on each area, you can create and complete action plans, add comments, and edit details.
🟣👉 If you still have questions about registering your IDP, we recommend reading the article "Registering your IDP at Qulture.Rocks" for detailed guidance.
Additionally, you will notice the presence of a progress bar at the top of the IDP module screen. This bar represents the overall progress of your IDP and will be updated based on your advancement. Track your progress visually through this bar, which will reflect how much you have completed in relation to the established objectives and plans.
✅ The progress is calculated based on the number of development areas and the progress of each area. Let's see an example:
Let's assume that Rodrigo's IDP has 2 Development Areas: Communication and Planning. Each area corresponds to 50% of the total IDP progress.
Now, let's assume that the progress of the Communication Area is at 66.67%, meaning Rodrigo has completed 2 out of the 3 Action Plans in the Communication Area.
If the progress of the Planning Area is at 0%, then the overall IDP progress should be at 33% (66% of 50% + 0% of 50%).
⚠️ Note that if you create a development area that doesn't have any registered action plans, it will not be taken into account for the overall IDP progress calculation
Status of Development Areas and IDP
The progress of the PDI is reflected in the status of the development areas as follows:
🟣 If there are no completed action plans, the status of the development area remains 'Not started'.
🟣 Upon completing the first Action Plan, the status of the Development Area automatically changes from "Not started" to "In progress."
🟣 Upon completing all Action Plans, the status of the Development Area automatically changes to "Completed."
🟣 If there is only one Action Plan, the status of the Development Area will directly change from "Not started" to "Completed."
The relationship between the status of the Development Areas and the progress is as follows:
✅ 0%: "Not started."
✅ 0% < x < 100%: "In progress."
✅ 100%: "Completed."
