🟣 To get started, click on the "IDP" product located in the left sidebar of the screen:
Upon clicking on the product, you will be redirected to the cycle instructions page. It is essential to carefully read the provided instructions. Next, click on "My Development" to view your own page, where you can create your Development Plan.
From your "My Team" page, you will have access to various functionalities that allow you to manage and track the development of your team members. This includes creating action plans, editing information, setting deadlines, and monitoring progress:
🟣 On the "My Development" page, you have the option to create a new Development Area for your IDP.
When accessing the "My Development" page, you will find a button or option that allows you to add a new Development Area. Click on that button, and you will be directed to a form where you can enter the details of the new area, such as the name, type, and description. Fill in the necessary information and save the new Development Area.
🟣 After creating a new Development Area, you can start creating action plans within that area.
Action plans are the specific steps that you will define to achieve the development goals of the respective area.

⚠️ It is important to note that the progress of your IDP will be accounted for as you complete the action plans within each development area. Therefore, make sure to mark actions as completed so that the progress is updated accurately.
🟣 On the "My Team" page, you will have access to the list of employees under your leadership.
By using the "My Team" page, you can track the individual development of each member of your team, provide necessary guidance and support, and ensure that everyone is progressing towards their development goals appropriately.
Unlike the traditionally used flow in OKRs, the approval in IDP does not have any impact on permissions or other actions within the platform. The approval in IDP is merely a visual step to ensure alignment between you and your team member regarding objectives and development plans. It does not result in any changes to permissions or unlock additional functionalities in the platform.
