Click “New”.
Insert the Objective information
🟣 Type
🟪 Objective: Use this option to create an Objective that represents a specific aspect of your business and has associated Key Results (indicators).
🟪 Project: Use this option to create a Project, where you can include binary deliverables, meaning items that can be marked as completed or not.
🟣 Tier
🟪 Individual: By selecting this option, you create the Objective on the individual's profile of the Owner and Responsible. This means that the Objective will be assigned to a specific person who will be responsible for its tracking and progress.
🔴 Important: It is necessary to note that once assigned, the responsible for the objective cannot be changed as it is directly linked to the designated person or team.
🟪 Team: By choosing this option, the selected team becomes the Owner of the Objective. However, it is important to also assign a Responsible for the Objective, which could be the team leadership, for example.
🟪 Company: Only General Administrators and OKR Administrators have permission to create objectives and projects at the company level. In this case, the company becomes the Owner of the Objective, but it is also necessary to assign a Responsible for it to ensure someone is in charge of monitoring its progress.

At this stage, you can choose the person who will be responsible for the Objective or Project. To fill in this information, simply start typing the name of the responsible person in the search box, and the list of options will be displayed for you to select the correct person.

Choose between the options Public or Private to define the visibility of the Objective.
🟪 Public: The Objective will be visible to everyone in the company, unless the "Employees," "Team," or "Company" tab is set to invisible.
🟪 Private: The Objective will be visible only to the owner, responsible person, contributors, direct leader, and administrators
🟣 Weight
At this stage, you can assign a weight to the Objective. To fill in this information, simply enter the corresponding value for the weight of the Objective. For more information on using weights in Objectives, we recommend reading this article.
